I am very passionate about science and technology of  materials that can and help us in solving the global problems and make our mother earth a better place to live for us and for the next generations. I am fascinated by the chemistry by materials and I am interested in probing a variety of materials using analytical tools.

I am very intrigued by range of multipurpose materials such as metal nanoparticles, redox enzymes, inorganic upconversion materials, polymer nanoparticles, silica nanoparticles, electropolymers etc. These materials have potential to satisfy our future energy needs and can harvest renewable energy to provide sustainable energy economy. I am very interested in probing the fundamentals guiding principles of these materials by using spectrum of electrochemical, spectroscopic and microscopic level. Combining spectroscopic and microscopic techniques with electrochemical techniques to advance understanding of materials at bulk, nanoscale and at single entity level is one of my core research of interest and it has been an integral part of my research interests and academic training.

Along with research, I am also really passionate about teaching. Making coming generation capable of critical thinking an scientifically inclined is one of my mottos.

Outside the lab and classrooms, you can find me at the tennis and racquetball courts, trekking and hiking spots, national parks engaged in various physical activities.
